Unstable
Our government is on the verge of collapse, with more corruption and political violence than ever before. In the midst of this chaos, Trump pardoned his most violent supporters, ready to do his bidding.
Government shutdowns have become the norm with thousands in Maryland alone going without a paycheck for months; while children starve, the U.S. war machine raged on -leaving us with more enemies.
Congress has enriched themselves at our expense, betting on the markets they are supposed to regulate. Judges are busy on book tours or lounging on private islands with donors, instead of reigning in a would be king. The climate crisis remains unaddressed, while we invade countries for oil.
The president, his party, and their vision is unstable.
Unaffordable
The cost of living is a dystopian phrase used to describe how much it costs to stay alive in America. A term that only applies to those of us that live paycheck to paycheck.
People are selling plasma in order to buy groceries, sleeping under cardboard boxes in the snow, while investment firms like Blackrock and foreign nationals buy up city blocks.
The rent is still too damn high, wages are still too low, the 1% still own 99% of the country's wealth. Our wealth.
Imperialism
Our imperial president has bombed Iran, kidnapped the Venezuelan president, and threatened to attack Mexico, Cuba, and Greenland.
ICE is disappearing people to torture facilities and shooting US Citizens in the street. Showing us daily examples that fascism is what happens when an empire turns their guns inward.
The US is supporting a Genocide in Gaza, while ignoring another genocide in Sudan; sadly not the first time for either country.
The United States has created chaos by imposing sanctions, trade embargo’s, and maintaining the war on drugs.
The United States Empire is only satisfied when it manufactures a war, creates conditions that force people to migrate to N. America, or a new territory is gained.
Future
Stable:
Imagine a future where you could just relax. You could lay on a beach and listen to an audiobook without ICE kidnapping you for being labeled an ANTIFA gender extremist.
In this future, we are well on our way towards declaring victory over climate change. The innovations in energy, transportation, healthcare and nutrition have left us secure, united, healthy, and free. We listened to common sense and regulated every aspect of Artificial Intelligence and required that data centers be placed in places that voted for them. We banned police departments and intelligence agencies from using AI to mass surveil US citizens. Healthcare is free at point of service, and we have eliminated virus after virus. We are living longer, freer, and with more resources than any generation before. Because twenty years ago, in 2026 our government decided to start to fight back.
In this future, our government works.
But first we need to root out corruption and elect young, honest, stable, progressive leaders to fight to take us forward, faster.
Affordable
Freedom should not be income restricted, that is the basic promise of America.
We need a Housing Bill of Rights, consumer protections - from AI scams to predatory towing, Universal Healthcare, and a $15 minimum wage. We should prioritize public health initiatives and make contraception and STI testing free. We also badly need contract reform to protect us all from corporations who use loopholes and vague language to get out of paying us what they agreed to pay.
Let’s feed people and end chronic homelessness, let's pay parents for keeping civilization moving forward. While we are at it, let's make it easier to get a job and harder to lose it with some basic worker protections.
Liberation
The United States Congress needs to reclaim its exclusive power over declaring war.
ICE should be abolished. We need more friends not fewer, removing outdated sanctions and embargo’s is a great way to begin to repair our standing in the world.
Stopping our support of genocide is long overdue. We cannot continue to place our country in harms way in order to shield Israel from consequences for their unprovoked offensive actions on their neighbors and constant war crimes. Let them defend themselves in front of the International Court of Justice.
The US should be made up of states and the people who reside in them. We need statehood for DC, PR, Guam, and the Virgin Isles. We need to end the war on drugs to remove our excuse for constant intervention.
