It’s time to break up our empire

We must stop initiating war and supporting genocide across the world; we need to repair the harm to the many nations that we have tried to destroy and get rid of the excuses for repeated interferrence with them.  No supporting Genocidal regimes in Israel. No kidnapping rulers in Venezuela. No Bombing Iran.

Forward is Liberation.

  • All territory held by the US for more than ten years should be given a chance to vote for statehood or be granted independence. 

  • The United States should not fund the mass murder and displacement of the Palestinian people. but instead should help secure and stabilize the region by:

    • Allowing the International Criminal Court to do its work, unrestricted.

    • Breaking the blockade and allowing unrestricted trade between Gaza and the US.. The U.S. should protect shipping to and from Gaza to ensure they have food,water and medicine.

    • Block the forced migration of Palestinians out of Gaza, Israel, or the West Bank.

    • Create a process to expedite and approve claims from workers, students, and government officials who were punished for exercising their 1st amendment rights to protest and speech.

    • The United States should stop blocking votes in the United Nations that would hold Israel accountable. 

    • The United States should guarantee the safety of the region by enforcing a ceasefire throughout the rebuilding process. 

    • The United States should be reimbursed for the weapons given to Israel, and the Iron Dome system should not be a burden on the American Taxpayers.  

    • The United States should Stop funding Genocide in Gaza.

    • Make organizations such as AIPAC register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

    • After twenty years of failing the Afghan people, and meeting few of our goals it is time that the United States normalize relations with the country and find a way to move forward in a way that benefits the people of both countries. 

    • We should ensure we offer the appropriate resources to the interpreters, military advisors and informers that we evacuated from the country to ensure that they thrive in America. 

    • We should increase the number of Visa’s and speed up asylum claims to women and girls from the country who are being brutalized by the Taliban. 

    • We should offer the country access to our markets in exchange for increased rights for the people. 

    • We should explore the options for a closer partnership that enriches and liberates both countries, not simply wish the Taliban away.

    • Close Guantanamo Bay Detention Center, and open an Embassy. 

    • End the embargo, and allow unfettered travel and trade between the two countries. 

    • End all sanctions on Cuba. 

    • Explore a medical tourism exchange between the countries.

    • Return their president and his wife to the country.

    • End all sanctions on the country. 

    • Return seized assets and profits earned from sale of stolen oil.

    • Work with Venezuela to co-lead a climate change plan for the Americas.

    • Drug reclassification of MDMA

    • Drug reclassification of LSD

    • Legalization of Marijuana 

    • Legalization of Psilocybin

    • Make it less onerous to buy cold medication ( Remove ID requirement )

    • Restrict advertising for Alcohol, drugs and prescription medications  

    • Focus on treatment options and safe usage not incarceration for narcotics and other drugs with health & addiction dangers 

    • Remove blanket three year ban on public housing for those convicted of drug offenses. 

    • Recommend to the executive that all Inmates with drug possession w/out the intention to sell be Pardoned 

    • Change banking rules to protect Marijuana

    • Restrict the President from taking unprovoked hostile actions against countries, organizations, or Foreign leaders without approval and notification within 15 days. 

    • The President, Secretary of Defense, and any general that gives the order to attack a sovereign country in violation of this law shall automatically be referred to congress for impeachment. 

    • All authorizations of military forces (AUMF) automatically expire thirty days after the end of a president's term; AUMF’s must be put up for a vote every six months, and expire annually if not approved by a 2/3rds vote. 

    • Reestablish that only Congress can approve the transfer, sale, or purchase of weapons to foreign countries, nationals, or groups. 

    • Ban support of governments that are actively repressing their citizens, residents of their territory, and/or oppressed minorities without a 2/3rds majority vote.

    • Declassify assasination attempts, coups and disruptive measures the Executive Branch has ordered in the last fifty years. Make the process for such actions require Congressional approval ( like an intelligence version of an AUMF)   

    • Ban on executive sharing military operations with corporations without congressional approval. 

    • Work with Canada, Central and South America to build an multi year intercontinental high speed rail system as a climate jobs program. Uniting the region, cutting down on traffic and making the transport of people and goods easier and less reliant on long haul trucking or clogged waterways. 

    • Work to form a climate change plan for the America’s in partnership with with others in the region including Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba and Canada.

    • Promote climate research into resiliency and mediation specifically to help coastal nations and islands survive while we work to reverse climate change.
